When Apollo landed on the moon in July 1969, I watched from the living room of my Aunt Helen’s house, amazed and proud. Even as we celebrate the memories of that day, 40 years ago this week, there are people who don’t believe that crew of the Apollo; Buzz Aldrin, Michael Collins and Neil Armstrong actually did indeed land on the moon and walk on it. A recent poll found an amazing 6% of the American public still don’t believe the Apollo 11 moon landing really took place.
